Rodney James & the High Gear Daddies

Friday Night - 10:30pm to 11:15pm @ Prost Brewing Company | 21+

1950s Rockabilly

Rodney James and the High Gear Daddies play old fashioned, 1950s rockabilly.

They started playing together in 2010 when Mark moved from the Netherlands to Fort Collins.

Rodney James was known for his band Rodney James and the Blue Flames, but was without a drummer and bass player at that time.

In the mean time they played at rockabilly and other  bars all over Colorado and  you can see them a lot at classic car shows.

The songs they play are almost all covers, we have a few originals. Most of the covers are well known artists like Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly and Johnny Horton, but also more obscure music from the fifties.

The line up is:

Rodney James: guitar, double neck guitar and vocals

Mark Verschoor: stand-up bass and backing vocals

Mike Ray: drums
